AARON VANDERPOOL R.A., NCARB

Founder + Creative Director

Born and raised in the midwest, Aaron grew up in the suburbs of Kansas City, attending Kansas State University to obtain his degree in Architecture.

Following the "great" recession, Aaron spent 5 years in Manhattan working for Shadow Architects honing his skills as a designer. Focusing on high-end small scale renovations, before moving across country to the Cascade mountains of the pacific northwest in Portland OR. While working at TVA Architects Aaron worked gained experience as a project architect on a wide range of projects; from multifamily, commercial developments and single family homes.

Aaron has spent a decade honing his skills an expert in interpreting his clients' needs and creating highly detailed, warm, contemporary spaces. At Draw North he is the driving creative force, and maintains close relationships with each client that the firm works with.

When not at the office, Aaron can be found walking his dog Tucker around their neighborhood in NE Kansas City, and planning future hikes around Colorado, the PNW and abroad.
