CENTRAL PARK WEST DUPLEX*, NEW YORK, NY

After working with Architect Larry Cohn (Shadow Architect, P.C.) on her previous home, Dr. Senay and her family sought out Shadow Architect, P.C. to design and oversee a complete renovation of their new Central Park West Duplex. The residence has an impressive 4400 sq. ft. over two floors in a grand building on Central Park.

Larry & Aaron* refashioned the original duplex and it's existing layout to infuse new elements while keeping/restoring classic details. A modern kitchen and rich detailed library replace existing while existing bathrooms were enlarged and modernized. Additionally, the former servants’ wing was reconfigured to be a new bedroom suite for a child heading off to college; complete with a private entrance. New storage was added throughout the apartment while keeping the original entertainment and living spaces intact. The windows were all replaced, a central/zoned AC system and A/V package were also coordinated.
